The Peak District National Park Authority is reviewing its Local Plan and, with neighbouring Ramblers Areas (Cheshire East, Derbyshire, South Yorks & NE Derbyshire, Staffordshire and West Riding), we have made a Collective Response on issues that have an impact on the places we walk.

On 30th July, Greater Manchester will elect a new mayor.

Andy Burnham, pledged to support leisure walking in Greater Manchester. Now we need to make sure our new mayor does the same!

The Ramblers have created a simple online form so that you can write to the leading candidates. It only takes a minute!


Walk the Mersey Valley Way with the Stockport Group

The third stage, Sale Water Park tram stop to Ashton upon Mersey, will take place on Tuesday 4th August.
